What is the UN’s Agenda 2030?

Agenda 2030 is the UN framework of 17 “sustainable development goals” (SDGs) supposedly aimed at saving the planet by 2030. Many are suspicious SDGs are a ploy to bring in socialism and a restriction on freedoms. The MSM have been largely silent on how domestic policies have been directly influenced by the SDGs.

Labour is strongly in favour of co-governance, but just doesn’t talk about it

Labour has barely mentioned co-governance, Three Waters or He Puapua during the campaign. Meanwhile, NZ First and ACT are collectively garnering over 15% of votes and repealing co-governance measures are central to their campaigns. What should voters make of Labour’s unwillingness to campaign on what’s aggressively pursued while in power?

Wokism smells a lot like socialism / Marxism – Part 1

Marxism is still central in many academic theories of governance, despite its abysmal record of human suffering in the real world. Like socialism, Marxism strives to make everyone more equal, but Marxism aims to accomplish it by agitating marginalised people to blame other social classes. When this Marxist ideology was applied to other attributes like gender and race, we got Critical Theory and wokism.

Economic update: Inflation dips slightly, but business confidence is shaky

New Zealand’s quarterly inflation slows to 6% per annum Jobs advertised, those applying for them and wages increase. The housing market shows faint signs of recovery after 18 months of decline. BusinessNZ’s Forecast indicates minimal growth because of government spending, rising debt, high inflation and regulatory burdens. Confidence amongst business owners is low.

NZ Herald links “Threat from Outer Space” to NZ News Essentials – Part 4

Business Desk wrote about NE in an article that also ran in the NZ Herald. It missed a lot of nuance and jumped to conclusions. They even suggest NE flirts with “conspiracy theories” for daring to discuss Hipkins’ visit to the World Economic Forum. The more MSM avoids serious topics like co-governance and equity, the more we will address them.

The Green party and Te Pāti Māori share several similarities

Both embrace identity politics; endorse the same co-governance interpretation of the Treaty; and have leaders accused of espousing racist rhetoric. Both support ethnic (Māori) based rights over fresh water. Both call for wealth taxes to be implemented. Both want NZ to withdraw from the Five Eyes compact.

Falsehood flies, and truth comes limping after it.
