The left are quick to call people racists, including each other

Leftist parties frequently say National and ACT are racists. Elizabeth Kerekere accuses her former party, the leftist Greens, of racism. Labour defector, Meka Whaitiri, says she was “censored” for being a Māori woman (ie. racism). It seems racism is very inclusive.

Mainstream media coverage concentrated on injuries to police and ignored most injuries to protesters. The Independent Police Conduct Authority confirmed unjustified arrests and use of force. Police used potentially deafening loudspeakers and changed policy to allow pepper spraying crowds.

Helping to control the narrative on COVID: Te Pūnaha Matatini

Te Pūnaha Matatini was the Government’s primary external source of COVID advice. It seems to have changed their view as required to support the Government’s position, and was paid generously. It was also paid to denounce criticism of its own research.

Bill to ban seabed mining voted down

A Te Pāti Māori bill banning seabed mining was defeated. Labour, National and ACT voted against it. Labour says the bill would have retroactively banned existing consents that would threaten the nation’s supply of electricity. There’s speculation Labour doesn’t want to be seen as being in Te Pāti Māori’s pocket, who sponsored the bill.

What do you get for a Green vote these days?

Commentators are concerned about The Green Party’s infighting. Lots of insults and drama to go around. This recent episode is more reality TV than statesmanship.

Kiwis should form an opinion about the rise of transgender theory, as it permeates many areas of society. Unquestioning media promotes one sided narrative, but there are many contrary views overseas. “Inclusive” activists enforce hypocritical nonacceptance.
