Calls for the COVID Royal Commission of Inquiry to expand its scope

Pervasive rumblings of adverse effects and excess deaths raise suspicions COVID vaccines are to blame. Meanwhile, the Royal Commission of Inquiry, set up by Labour, seems designed to be self congratulatory. ACT and NZ First have both pledged to expand the Inquiry’s scope. Ultimately, don’t we want to know whether the COVID vaccines were actually “safe and effective” and what the Government did to determine this?

Understanding New Zealand’s alarming suicide rates

New Zealand faces alarming suicide rates. Youth rates are the highest in the OECD. Māori face suicide rates 50% higher, but, overall, male rates are twice the female rates. Having a father growing up may be more important than race in determining risk factors. Family cohesion and healthy lifestyles may be essential for long-term improvement.

Wokism rose by replacing the Marxist distinction of class wealth with a variety of other divisions like gender, race and sexuality. It aims to undermine traditional values and cultural and sexual boundaries. As with Marxism, it seems the primary goal is not to address actual oppression, but to use social division to gain political power.

Are NZ and Australia’s left wing establishments creating pushback on identity politics?

The left say the defeat of Labour in NZ, with their co-governance push, and Australia’s The Voice referendum, is “evidence” of disinformation and hate. Isn’t this just an argument and couldn’t it be that mainstream voters know all they need to and simply reject divisive policies? Have leftwing leaders in both countries simply misread the room and galvanised the the inherent resistance?

Labour was unique in their extraordinary efforts to control media narratives. The incoming National led Government is accused of refusing to engage with the media after a contentious campaign. NZ First wants a Royal Commission into media bias. Much of the media is described as elitist, out of touch and fanatical in their leftwing views.

Technically, non-Māori can run for a Māori seat, but only Māori may enrol on the Māori electoral roll to vote. Census and Māori electoral roll numbers determine the number of Māori seats. Māori electorates are larger than General electorates in terms of area, the same population, but the numbers of registered voters per Maori electoral roll is substantially less.
